Frontier Science Codex Update 🧬🧠⚛️ The sixth-grade version Scientists keep looking at really different things and finding something interesting: Nature has rules. 🧬 DNA: Your body has instructions for building and maintaining you. Those instructions interact with your environment and with each other. 🧠 Brain: Your eyes and ears collect information, but your brain has to put it together. What you experience is your brain’s best model of what’s happening around you. ⚛️ Physics: Tiny pieces of nature follow very specific rules. We understand many of those rules incredibly well, but we still don’t know what lies underneath all of them. 💻 Computers: Humans discovered that relatively simple rules can create incredibly complicated things. We can now simulate weather, molecules, galaxies, evolution, and pieces of biology. 🤖 AI: We learned that machines can learn patterns and perform tasks we once thought required human intelligence. We still don’t know how far that can go. 🌎 Earth: Nature is a gigantic connected system. Tiny organisms, oceans, air, plants, animals, climate, and humans affect one another. Change one important piece enough and the effects spread. And THAT gives us three enormous questions: 🕹️ Simulation theory: If complicated worlds can grow from rules and information, could our universe work something like that too? Maybe. We don’t know. 🤖 Singularity: If machines keep getting smarter and eventually help make even smarter machines, could technological change become faster than humans can keep up with? Maybe. We don’t know. 〰️ String theory: If we keep looking underneath atoms and particles, could there be an even deeper structure underneath everything? Maybe. We don’t know. 🔥 The important part Science has NOT proven: “We live in a simulation.” Science has discovered something much cooler: A few underlying rules can produce unbelievably complicated worlds. So the scientifically responsible question becomes: How deep do the rules go? And I think that is the perfect doorway for what you’re building: DNA → Life → Brain → Perception → Physics → Information → Computation → AI → Earth → Us Then three giant question marks at the end: #Simulation? 🕹️ #Singularity? 🤖 #Strings? 〰️ We don’t have to believe any of them to explore all three. The bug could allow someone to create essentially unlimited bitcoin out of thin air. Nine days later, on August 15, an attacker exploited it, creating over 184 billion #BTC in a single transaction.
