Recently got the kiddo a decent sized trampoline because she wore out her little one. It's been a blast playing and chilling on it with her. I mostly work outdoors, but I can't remember the last time I laid down and looked at the clouds for a while. The guard mesh around it keeps the bugs down and it beats a hammock by far. Maybe we'll camp out..
Listening to the audiobook Technofeudalism: What Killed Capitalism by Yanis Varoufakis. Some interesting ideas so far that are better polished than my own. He really should have hired someone else to narrate the book though.
I am so bad at “Mise En Place” that I’m always playing catch up. I’m not talking about culinary stuff. The problem is I don’t have a place assigned for everything and the amount of things tends to grow easier than shrink. People who seem to naturally do well at this amaze me.
Waded through loads of beaver ponds today fishing. It was so quiet and peaceful. There is a timeless quality to nature that reflects its creator. It would have been easy to get lost in there and part of me wanted to.
