Journalists are expected to be university graduates as if that somehow ensured basic intelligence. It doesn't… It means you have a good enough memory to take what you have been told and repeat that on an exam paper. Innate iintelligence which can't be taught is something very different and today’s excuse for “journalism” is almost entirely devoid of that in the mainstream.

Found this gem in our pantry. My wife's Grandmother made a cook book in 1989. she speaks about her life, God, and the different cooking methods she grew up with. There are some amazing home-cooked meal recipes that intend to create. I love cooking from scratch and enjoy the history of her grandmother who was an amazing wife and child of God who lived to almost 100 years of age. In a world of fast food, be a home cooked meal made with love.

I took two employees out to lunch today and mentioned I was working on my Bitcoin Node. That opened the flood gates with #bitcoin questions. We spent the next hour discussing Bitcoin. I even showed them how easy it is to purchase, cold wallet, hot wallets, multi-sig wallet, scarcity, shitcoins. Ended the conversation stressing that they do their own research and if they opened a @Cash App or @strike account, I would send them both their first $10 in Bitcoin. All of this conversation stemmed from me making one simple comment. I love talking about Bitcoin.

I find Bitcoin stories fascinating so I want to share mine: 2012 I started what I thought was my going to be my dream career. Started as a supervisor with hopes of working extremely hard and moving up the company ladder. 2013 I promoted to managing my own location. 2014 I promoted again to another larger location. Each location making more money but not feeling like it made any difference in what I had in the bank. My lifestyle hadn’t changed much. This is where I started to have initial thoughts that all of this was for nothing. Worked there until 2018. 60 hours at the office and on call 24/7, I was given the ultimatum to fight for my job, or resign. I decided to resign. This changed my outlook on business dramatically. 2019-2020 random job. 2020 I found a job making 15k more than I had ever made and still… something felt off as my lifestyle hadn’t changed, but still no real savings outside of 401k. I started to think about stocks, bought books on investing in stocks, etc. typical shit that people do. Found @Matthew Kratter and listening to his advice from a stock perspective. I followed him on YouTube and he started to talk about his conviction in Bitcoin. It fascinated me that this man was so convicted in bitcoin that he had made a HUGE change in his strategy, so I started researching Bitcoin. Found @Saifedean Ammous “The Bitcoin Standard”. My eyes were opened to a way of life that could legitimately change the world. True sovereignty, hope, anti-theft, and last but not least, a way out of this rigged system that we live in. My conviction for Bitcoin isn’t just for me. Of course I want it to go up and restore the time that has been stolen from me, but I wholeheartedly want this for humanity. I want a world where the people aren’t stolen from. Bitcoin changes the world as we know it.

@Umbrel ☂️ I truly believe in your company and support it. That said, I spend more time trying to get access to view my node via umbrella.local and troubleshooting why it’s not working. I’m constantly getting “site cannot be reached” errors or restart/shutdown errors that never work. Frustrated.

One of the hardest things for me to do is spend bitcoin. Bitrefill for instance… “cool tech. I’m going to test it out.” Buy bitcoin.. “Eh, I’ll try it some other time.” Every. Single. Time.

Why are “free markets” closed after after 430pm Monday-Friday and all day over the weekend? Not really free when you can’t access at anytime is it?

@primal is the way. I have deleted all social media accounts except Twitter as I wanted to keep up with what’s going on surrounding Bitcoin. I like the direction this platform is going and intend to support indefinitely.
