How is everyone changing the information when they zap people? When I zap, it auto populates that information.

@jack mallers it would be awesome to be able to create multiple wallets within my account on @strike .
Example: Let’s say I have .1 BTC in my Strike account that I consider a small stash for emergencies that I don’t put in cold storage.
Let’s say I also have miners that are set up for daily lightning payments directly into my Strike account that will help pay my electric bill each month during the winter.
I don’t want to have to scroll through my history for 30 days to figure out how much BTC to cash out to pay the electric bill. I just want it to go to a separate account/wallet within my Strike account.
What are your thoughts?
@jack mallers @strike I need to buy this dip. When is maintenance going to be done!?
@Derek Ross what would you recommend for someone who is fairly new in coding (recently took a college class) that is fascinated with creating websites, mobile apps, etc.
There seems to be so much going on in the space and don’t know where to start. I learned basic functionality in college. That’s it.
Are we thinking deep enough about sovereignty in the digital age? What happens if Apple shuts off your wallet app?
What happens if Apple no longer lets your cold storage be downloaded on your computer?
Just wondering if we need to focus on other things to ensure security and sovereignty.
I think another part of this Bitcoin drawdown has to do with the 800k+ jobs that have been cut in America year to date.
I can tell you from experience, it’s rough in the job market and if I don’t find something soon, I’ll need to pull out of cold savings as well.
Are there any Bitcoin miners on Nostr?
What is all this Zcash garbage online?
I need to delete X. Takes my focus from everything that matters.
“There’s not enough Bitcoin for everyone.”
21,000,000 Bitcoins x 100,000,000 Satoshis/Bitcoin = 2,100,000,000,000,000 Satoshis
So, there are 2.1 quadrillion Satoshis in the total supply of 21 million Bitcoins.
The real problem is selling your Bitcoin…. Not using it to purchase food.
Bitcoin wings!
Made my first purchase using Bitcoin in my city! I have been emailing local merchants and asking them if they were able and willing to turn on Bitcoin with Square. This merchant immediately responded and told me they had them up and running.
The lady who took my order was in awe of how simple and cool it was that we could use Bitcoin to buy food.
She said she is going to look into Bitcoin.
I’m going to frame this receipt.

Just ordered my @bitcoin.rocks stickers. Going to paint the town orange!
Will snap photos where they’re at when I get them. 💪🏽🫡
There are already 6 merchants who accept bitcoin in my community.
There were zero this morning. Businesses are tired of the fees as well. Wouldn’t be surprised if they promote using bitcoin like they have been for cash.
Visa and MasterCard have entered the chat.
Once this begins to gain traction, I can see Visa and MasterCard lowering their fees to compete with Bitcoin.
They aren’t going to simply lie down and take the beating. Mark my words.

If I’m a business owner, I would hate seeing the thousands+ being taken from my pocket each month. Simply because my customers choose to pay with a card instead of cash (Which was heavily promoted by the fiat banking system).
You now have an opportunity to eliminate that fee until 2027 and only 1% after. This is a HUGE financial incentive to simply click a button to turn on Bitcoin payments. Even if you want $$.
@jack is there a way to find companies that use Square as their POS system? I know you can see companies that currently accept Bitcoin through @Cash App, but it would be nice to know who has the systems.
I know of one in my city, but I know there are more. I want to be able to search for them so I can start asking them about bitcoin payments.
