The Bank of Ghana also emphasized that the new law will help safeguard the financial system while addressing risks tied to unregulated crypto activity. Under the new framework, crypto exchanges and service providers must be licensed and supervised, strengthening consumer protection and lowering transaction costs for banks and small businesses. With an estimated 3 million users around 17% of the adult population already using digital currencies. Ghana now joins a select group of nations that have moved to fully legalize crypto use at the national level.

I used to believe that I needed to be on X to keep up with Bitcoin news in case something happened. I realized that it doesn’t matter. Regardless of what happens, I’m not going anywhere. I’m the captain and will go down with the ship if it comes to it. There is no other option for me. Either it works and humanity thrives, or it doesn’t and the ship sinks. Bitcoin is hope for the future. It’s a way out of a corrupted system that historically always fails.
