Fun little benchmark I like to do every now and then. For Time: 100 Push Presses (75/55) Really makes you focus on breathing with every rep in order to not gas out too quickly. Whole thing took 2:36, here's a clip of the first 65 unbroken. Did 10s and 5 after. I'd love to do the whole thing unbroken... One day... #BlockchainBarbellClub #CrossFit #Fitstr #Weightlifting

Bitcoiner Price Index - December 2024 Update The latest update in Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers, adjusted for Bitcoiners TL;DR: Bitcoiners stay winning. Introduction Welcome to this month's edition of the Bitcoiner Price Index (BPI), where we analyze the monthly year-over-year (YoY) Consumer Price Index (CPI) data adjusted for Bitcoin. This ongoing series tracks the cost of living on a Bitcoin Standard, shedding light on how inflation in traditional currency terms compares to deflation in Bitcoin terms. Our goal is to offer a perspective for those who view Bitcoin as their primary measure of value, providing actionable insights into the relative purchasing power of goods and services over time. Let’s dive into the December 2024 data and evaluate the trends shaping the global economy for Bitcoiners and dollar earners alike. December 2024 CPI Update The latest CPI for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U)¹ shows a YoY increase of 2.90% as of December 31, 2024. This marks a continued moderate rise in the USD-based cost of goods and services, reflecting the broader inflationary pressures on the economy. By contrast, the Bitcoin Price Index (BPI), which adjusts CPI for Bitcoin's price movement, recorded a YoY change of -59.45%, indicating a significant reduction in the BTC-denominated cost of living. This stark difference illustrates Bitcoin's deflationary characteristics, as its value appreciation far outpaces inflationary trends. Here’s how Bitcoin’s price has performed in this period: • BTC Price (12/31/2024): $93,897.38² • One-Year Increase: +120.64% (from $42,556.93 on 12/31/2023) • Four-Year Increase: +222.54% (from $29,111.52 on 12/31/2020) Insights for Bitcoiners The difference between CPI and BPI highlights the impact of Bitcoin’s price volatility and long-term upward trend. Over the past decade: • USD Trend: CPI has exhibited a consistent average YoY increase of 0.04%, signaling steady inflation in USD terms. • BTC Trend: BPI shows a declining trend of -0.22% YoY, reflecting the relative deflationary impact for Bitcoiners. image As shown in the chart, the red-shaded area under the CPI line indicates periods where the CPI exceeds the targeted 2% inflation rate, signaling heightened inflationary pressures. Conversely, the green-highlighted area above the BPI line reflects periods when the BPI is negative, indicating a decrease in the cost of living for those living on a Bitcoin Standard. These visual markers help clarify how Bitcoin consistently offsets the effects of USD inflation. Bitcoin’s price surges in 2015, 2019, and 2023 created temporary spikes in the BPI. However, the overall trend remains downward, showcasing Bitcoin’s ability to lower the relative cost of goods and services for those holding it long-term. This decoupling from USD inflation provides an alternative lens for understanding monetary policy’s effect on purchasing power. Conclusion Bitcoin continues to outperform traditional currency as a store of value, not only preserving but expanding purchasing power over time. While USD inflation creeps along at a modest pace, Bitcoin offers a hedge against this trend, driving significant cost-of-living reductions for those who adopt a Bitcoin Standard. As we enter 2025, these patterns emphasize the potential for Bitcoin as a tool for financial sovereignty. Whether you're new to Bitcoin or a long-time advocate, understanding these dynamics is essential for navigating an evolving global economy. Getting Paid to Play Video Games With DevourGO How to earn cryptocurrency and buy gift cards by playing your favorite games Intro Devour, the Web3 gaming company, recently announced that users can now purchase their cryptocurrency FUEL directly with XP earned on the DevourGO app. In this guide, I’ll show you how to earn XP, convert it to FUEL, and spend FUEL on gift cards, food, or even withdraw it to a self-custody wallet. Earning XP In the DevourGO app, users level up and earn various rewards via XP points, which can be earned multiple ways. Users earn XP for: • 1 XP for every dollar spent on DevourGO • Completing tasks on Share2Earn in the app • Playing games on Play2Earn in the app • Daily wheel spin in the app • 10 XP for every hour playing online games with DevourPlay via Overwolf image Buying FUEL With XP To cash in your XP for FUEL, simply go to the “Load FUEL” screen in the DevourGO app. The default option is to pay with a debit or credit card, however there is now an XP tab that can be used to convert XP to FUEL. image It’s also worth noting that only your current GoVIP level’s XP can be converted to FUEL. You can spend as much as you have accumulated toward the next level, and converting it will not decrease your level. image The value of XP is set at 10 XP = $0.01, so the amount of FUEL you get will fluctuate based on the current price of FUEL. At the moment of making this, the FUEL price is $0.0004310, so 10 XP = 24 FUEL. image You may have noticed 10 XP is rewarded for each hour of gaming on DevourPlay, so effectively one hour of gaming is worth $0.01. Spending FUEL Okay, now that you have FUEL, what can you do with it? The FUEL Balance on your DevourGO account can be withdrawn to an external wallet on Ethereum or Polygon, or it can be used to order food, purchase gift cards via the Loot Shop, or even to mint an Industry Pass NFT within DevourGO. Withdrawing FUEL To withdraw your FUEL to receive on-chain $FUELX that can be traded or staked, simply go to GoVIP and click “FUEL Balance” and then “Request Withdrawal”. There is a $3.00 fee for withdrawals that is taken out of your FUEL Balance. image Ordering Food To order food on DevourGO, simply click the “Order Food” menu button. From there, you’ll be prompted to enter a delivery address and will be shown a list of nearby restaurants to order from just like any other delivery app. Select the restaurant and menu items you’d like to order, and click the “Checkout” button. image At checkout, there are multiple options. Select the top FUEL option to pay with your on-account FUEL. Select Coinbase to pay with on-chain FUEL, or any other cryptocurrency supported by Coinbase. You can also pay via credit/debit card, or even split your payment between FUEL and card. Pro tip: You get 5% back by paying with FUEL, and an additional 5% back if you hold an Industry Pass NFT. Purchasing Gift Cards DevourGO’s latest feature allows users to purchase gift cards via the Loot Shop. The gift cards currently available are limited to Roblox, Xbox, Playstation, Nintendo, Fortnite, GameStop, Twitch, League of Legends, and Valorant. They can only be purchased with FUEL, either on-account or via Coinbase at checkout. image Minting an Industry Pass NFT The Industry Pass NFT is the ultimate ticket to rewards with Devour. By simply holding the NFT in your wallet, you receive unlimited FREE delivery, can go past level 4 in GoVIP to earn higher-level rewards, get $10 per month in FUEL directly on your account indefinitely, and 5% back on all orders. image To mint an Industry Pass NFT, click the “Industry Pass” menu option. Scroll down to the “GET YOUR VIP PASS” section to choose how many you’d like to mint. Each one costs $150, and the payment options are the same as ordering food on DevourGO. Pay with card, FUEL, Coinbase, or split the payment between FUEL and card. If you’d like to hold your NFTs on separate wallets, you can send them to whichever wallet you’d like. However, in order to receive the benefits of holding, you’ll have to connect that wallet to your account via Wallet Connect by clicking the “My Wallets” button at the top right in GoVIP. Conclusion I hope this information helps you understand the amazing reward system that Devour has built using Web3 to connect the gaming and restaurant industries. While DevourGO and all of its features are already impressive, they still continue to innovate, adding and expanding features consistently. GET $10 OFF YOUR FIRST 3 ORDERS ON DEVOURGO WITH MY LINK: If you have any questions or have anything specific you’d like me to write about, feel free to message me. For any inquiries for the Devour team, visit their Telegram channel: t.me/GoDevour Maximizing Rewards To maximize rewards on DevourGO, you’ll want to: •Hold an Industry Pass NFT, obviously. It pays itself off after holding for 15 months, plus you get free delivery and 5% back on all orders, as well as the ability to progress past level 4 on GoVIP. •When ordering PAY WITH FUEL for 5%, making it 10% back on all orders for Industry Pass holders. •Paying with FUEL also doubles the XP earned, since you earn 1 XP for every dollar spent when buying FUEL as well as 1 XP for every dollar spent while ordering. By paying with FUEL, you not only get up to 10% back, but also double the XP earned! •Log into DevourGO every day to spin the XP wheel and complete the Share2Earn tasks. XP can be converted to FUEL or accumulated to level up and earn rewards ranging from FUEL to various Devour swag, or even drones and $20,000 ETH can be won in the Loot Box reward NFTs at levels 4, 7, 12, and 17!

Moved to a new town and started going to a new gym. I've started writing my own programming to save some money and because I feel comfortable doing so. If it goes well and I get good results, I'll share my 3-month program for free. If not, I'll share what I feel I did wrong and adjust moving forward. I'm not a certified personal trainer or coach, but I have been lifting weights for 13 years and doing CrossFit for 10 years, and was also a highly competitive karate athlete for 15 years. Program consists of mixed modalities: Wendler-style strength building lifts, complimentary bodybuilding exercises, CrossFit-style Metcons and constantly varied skill work ranging from Olympic lifting to gymnastics movements. Limited only by available equipment in the gym. Snatches today were feeling a little rusty, but feeling good overall. Can't wait to really get into it 💪 #BlockchainBarbellClub #Fitstr #Weightlifting #CrossFit image

My wife knocked it out of the park tonight. Cooked some onions in the iron skillet, then added the steaks on the stove tops to sear before finishing in the oven. Then added those onions to the mashed potatoes. Also, some kick-ass asparagus with parmesan on the side 👌 #foodstr

I've been pretty quiet here lately. Recently bought my first house. Wild ride. Been spending much less time on the net, getting much more acquainted with the drill and hammer. The wife and I love the house and the area we moved to, suits our needs and desires perfectly. Been adjusting to the change in lifestyle, organizing and re-prioritizing all material belongings as well as where I choose to allocate time and effort. Feels like I just hit the next level in this game of life. I've spent all my skill points and completed a couple side quests, now it's time to get back to grinding

Bitcoiner Price Index - November 2024 Update The latest update in Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers, adjusted for Bitcoiners Introduction Welcome to this month's edition of the Bitcoiner Price Index, where we explore the evolving cost of living on a Bitcoin Standard. By adjusting the latest Consumer Price Index (CPI) data from the Federal Reserve Economic Data (FRED) for the price of Bitcoin, we aim to illustrate how the purchasing power of goods and services shifts in terms of BTC compared to USD. This index offers unique insight for those who measure their wealth in Bitcoin and seek to understand the long-term impact of currency debasement and market fluctuations on their daily expenses. Let's dive into the latest data and see how our purchasing power stacks up this month. November CPI Update According to the latest update via the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis on December 11, the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) increased 0.15 percent on a seasonally adjusted basis in November, the same increase as the previous 3 months. The all items index increased 2.73 percent for the 12 months ending November, 2024. Adjusting for Bitcoiners While the Consumer Price Index (CPI) measures the average change over time in the prices paid by urban consumers for a market basket of consumer goods and services, it needs to be adjusted for those living on a Bitcoin Standard to reflect the cost of those goods and services relative to BTC. The price of Bitcoin on 11/30/2024 was approximately $96,536.75. The all items index measured in BTC fell -47.93% for the 12 month ending November, 2024. I’d also like to note that the $96,536.75 price of BTC is +156.35% from $37,658.08 on 11/30/2023, one year ago. Looking back four years ago, it is +398.06% from $19,382.36 on 11/30/2020. Bitcoiner Price Index Chart November 2024 image Trends Including this data in my previous analysis of the last decade, the year-over-year trend in CPI remains steady at 0.04%, while the trend in BPI is now -0.18%. This suggests a slow but consistent increase in the cost of goods and services for those living on a US Dollar standard, and a gradual but accelerating decrease in costs for those living on a BTC standard. It is worth noting that there are extremely sharp increases in BPI seen in 2015, 2019, and 2023, but despite this, the average year-over-year % change in costs of goods and services for Bitcoiners is still decreasing at over 4x the rate that prices are increasing in USD terms.
