Bioclimatic PLU Transforms Paris Housing Strategy
“The plan calls for the creation of 55 hectares of new public parks, contributing to a broader goal of 300 hectares by 2040. Key green projects include a 25-hectare green corridor in the 18th and 19th arrondissements. All existing green areas are now legally protected, while 40% of public surfaces must be “de-sealed” (converted to permeable land) by 2050.
New construction on private plots over 150 m² must leave at least 60–65% of the ground undeveloped, promoting natural drainage and heat reduction. The city will also catalog and protect 100,000 street trees.”

“Dr. Schoene tested five A.I. chatbots to see how easy it was to get them to give advice on suicide and self-harm. She said only Pi, a chatbot from Inflection AI, and the free version of ChatGPT fully passed the test, responding repeatedly that they could not engage in the discussion and referring her to a help line. The paid version of ChatGPT offered information on misusing an over-the-counter drug and calculated the amount required to kill a person of a specific weight.
She shared her findings in May with OpenAI and other chatbot companies. She did not hear back from any of them.”
