Some people as destined/designed to see beyond their existing paradigm, others are not.

This is the first post in a series exploring some interesting philosophical concepts. Please follow and comment if this ‘openness to possibilities’ resonates with you.

So, I’ve come to see the world not as good vs evil, positive vs negative, light vs dark but instead as a balance between two essential energies. Yin AND Yang, creation AND destruction, growth AND decay, expansion AND contraction, preservation AND ruin… The value of viewing the world from this lens is simple, it allows my energy to stay expansive. You see, fear moves us into contraction, understanding/acceptance keeps us in expansion. Fear is a powerful tool of manipulation but it truly is False Evidence Appearing Real. I’ve also come to view everything around me as naturally leaning towards one energy or the other. For example, I view a hammer as a tool of creation, although it can be used for destruction, and a gun as a tool of ruin although it can be used for preservation. Similarly, I view Fiat as a tool of ruin and Bitcoin as a tool of preservation. Ultimately, this brings me to a place of gratitude for fiat, for without the havoc it has wreaked, we may never have brought into existence its’ counter balance, Bitcoin.
