Over 5.5 million of the ~19.9 million bitcoin in circulation have moved at least once at prices above $100k. 
Improved the modal view's look and functionality on my site. In modal view, double-tap to zoom in on visualizations and again to zoom out. There's one more small optimization I'm working on now...you probably won't even notice it once it's finished though. 😅

Added little labels at the bottom of this epoch candles visualization for the genesis block date, each past halving date, and an estimated next halving date based on 10-minute blocks. 
Cleaned up the monthly, yearly, and epoch candle visualizations. All three are now updated hourly on my site. 🍻 
For this Bitcoin UTXO distribution analysis, I excluded UTXOs worth 0 sats & OP_RETURN outputs from the KPIs but included their counts and the value burned in OP_RETURN outputs at the bottom of the table: 5,112,996,066 sats (51+ BTC) that'll never see the light of day again. 
Bitcoin just had another day of perfect issuance.
24 hr ÷ 10 min/block = 144 blocks
144 × 3.125 BTC = 450 BTC 
These were some wild years for Bitcoin. Think we'll ever get another year with a return above +1,000%?

“D-coins”: bitcoin outputs worth exactly 500 BTC.
During the late 2018 crash below $4k, 500+ D-coins were spent in a matter of days (250,000+ BTC). Interesting to watch it happen around the 1-min mark in this animation.
It's officially been 300 weeks since 2020 began. Saving $50/week in bitcoin during that time would’ve turned $15k into 0.58 BTC, now worth over $63k. Saving in gold instead would’ve yielded 7.45 oz of gold, worth just over $28k.
Bitcoin’s clearly a superior savings technology.
