Open Banking Coming To Canada
https://krisconstable.com/open-banking-coming-to-canada/
I just got back to Vancouver, where one of my developers got https://IdeaWave.ca back up while I was gone. By coincidence, I clicked on Janis La Couvée's talk from 2010, "Set Theory and Human Relationships, the Importance of One" -- having just spent time with all my immediate family, including a few days of 13 of us under one roof -- this talk had more of an impact today as I come back to my bachelor pad than it did back then ... makes me think maybe it's time to revive this conference.

#Vancouver legend bought a pile of nostr:npub1gdu7w6l6w65qhrdeaf6eyywepwe7v7ezqtugsrxy7hl7ypjsvxksd76nak 's The Bitcoin Standard and is slowly releasing them in the local community book libraries. He puts a BullBitcoin.com sticker on each as well.
I've bought many and given them away as well.

He does not qualify as a drama teacher even though he played one his whole life. 100% tax payer funded.
I once convinced Whit Diffie try PGP while we were lost in car is how old I am.
How do we solve the gap of who is messaging who?
A decade ago, the Conservative party (now run by Pierre Poilievre) passed a law that allows some American law enforcement agencies to arrest Canadians on Canadian soil. "the same power to enforce an act of Parliament as a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police."

Man makes too much money in his TFSA (a *tax free* savings account in Canada) so the government considers it a business and now must be taxed as such 🤡

Beer is strong in Vancouver, lifecycle of a nostr meetup here:
Beer 1: This idea is great and what about this?
Beer 2: The stragglers show up, lots of cheers and happiness
Beer 3: Are you Satoshi?
Beer 4 or 5: I think #[0] just showed up
Beer 6: I'm turning purple
A reminder to those in #Vancouver, we're having a nostrich meetup at R&B Brewing at 6:30 pm on Tuesday April 11th -- everyone welcome, from builders to the curious. Some of us will be sharing our experiences about nostrica, but we'll also begin planning the future of the Vancouver nostr ecosystem including hackathons and hosting a conference here!

Unpacking the memories...

no one who takes the time to understand bitcoin regrets it
There are big deal bankers and police wanting to improve their systems, but there are no safe, trusted, and secure mediums to do so.
I thought nostr might be one, but the ability to see who you DM prohibits this opportunity.
