I suppose I should introduce myself. My name is Michael Boezi and I have been writing and playing music for 30+ years. I was lit up by the energy and ethos of the post-punk era, and have been playing music ever since. I perform regularly in the metro Boston area in a busking, "electric folk" Billy Bragg style – and in a band format too. My recordings have a fuller sound to them, while retaining the singer-songwriter feel. As a writer, I want the lyrics to always be front and center. I get compared to Kurt Vile, Andrew Bird, Johnny Marr, Elvis Costello, Mountain Goats, Lord Huron, Eels, R.E.M., Dire Straits, and Richard Thompson. Hear for yourself:
