I need to take some old scientific FORTRAN code, written by a dying man who can't support it anymore, and figure out (a) how to work with it and (b) potentially how to convert it into a newer codebase at some point in the future. The code is somewhat well-documented, albeit in a scatter shot way, on the author's website. What's the best AI tool to be a "copilot" on this (I have access to Gemini Pro but can potentially explore others)? Can I just throw all the source code and documentation into Notebook LLM and then use that as a "worker" on this? #asknostr
