@fiatjaf This "highlight" post was generated by Lantern... It was supposed to have a quote from the website, and annotation by me, and three hashtags. #coracle shows only the quote. #amethyst shows the quote and the annotation. None of them show the hashtags I applied to the note. Also, the error where the extension just "hangs" after successfully contacting and verifying with the nsecbunker (Amber) is still present. I claim some small credit in 2025 to (quite literally) #grownostr by documenting the not-great state of the #mostr and #momostr protocol bridges, and (despite developer neglect) how to make them work for you: View article → I realize not everyone agrees, but I think it should be a big priority in 2026 to get these systems working better. I see it as a "win-win" for Nostr users: we get to retain Digital Sovereignty over our identities and our "zap" superpower, all the while bridging in content from ~1 million DAU's who are actually talking about stuff OTHER than Bitcoin.

It's always a shock when you meet people who just don't drink water. Like, they exclusively drink teas, sodas, etc."Don't like the taste" of pure water. I'm just thinking "how are you even alive??"

AI gripe: So I guess even Gemini pro doesn't keep a permanent context? Like, I uploaded an entire codebase hoping to have a permanent "expert" who remembers the code and can answer questions about it ... I log in today, and it seems like it forgot everything. I can still see the code uploads in the chat, but the chatbot doesn't seem to remember them... So I just have to re-upload the whole thing every time?

this is a scam, right? it shows up as a "mention" in my client, but I don't see my user name "at"-ed... so not sure how they pulled that off View quoted note →
