#Ice actions in Minneapolis and other cities should be viewed not as anything that can realistically be construed as "law enforcement operations", but rather as the pretext for Federal government takeover of blue cities / states.
And in this context, they failed. Disastrously. And anyone on the political Right should take heart from that, the next time you're concerned that some Democrat president is going to "take over."
The US is, in fundamental ways, ungovernable. And that's a good thing. 🏴

It's crucial for everyone to have people in their life to tell them "you're nuts" when they go off the rails. This person clearly didn't have that. #ai #aipsychosis

One of those days where I realize... You know what? I'M doing just fine. It's EVERYONE ELSE that needs to get their shit together. 😤
Anyone know of a good replacement for ChainFlyer? That was a real-time, graphical description of transactions being built up and put into the blockchain... Kinda like Mempool.space but more artistic, and with audio.
Pretty disappointed in the space of real-time Blockchain visualizers right now.. Basically Mempool and nothing else??
Random thought: "Faith in oneself", like all faith, is irrational... but it doesn't mean it shouldn't be practiced.
Faith in oneself means "I don't know exactly how, but I'll make it through."
It can't be proven, but it doesn't mean it's not a worthy belief to have.
The "AI's the worst it will ever be" narrative is questionable to me.
These systems rely on (a) massive amounts of compute (and therefore energy), (b) massive expenditures that are diverting GPU production from other uses, and (c) fueled by (Fiat) speculative capital.
There's going to be a crash, and once it happens, good luck getting your "free" model to do so much as tell you the day of the week.
I do think that Nostr really "punches over its weight" on the quantity and quality of working artists posting here.
