Random thought: "Faith in oneself", like all faith, is irrational... but it doesn't mean it shouldn't be practiced. Faith in oneself means "I don't know exactly how, but I'll make it through." It can't be proven, but it doesn't mean it's not a worthy belief to have.

The "AI's the worst it will ever be" narrative is questionable to me. These systems rely on (a) massive amounts of compute (and therefore energy), (b) massive expenditures that are diverting GPU production from other uses, and (c) fueled by (Fiat) speculative capital. There's going to be a crash, and once it happens, good luck getting your "free" model to do so much as tell you the day of the week.
