Can someone explain to me the "permanent underclass" meme/idea/anxiety, especially among young silicon Valley coders? It seems like an awfully Marxist view, for one -- "haves and have nots" and all of that. But more than that, isn't the whole point of the "AI godhead" thing to create permanent prosperity, not some "underclass"?

This "The board" AI news slophouse is getting out of hand. Now there are deepfake "analysts" who pop up in threads to give their "commentary." Ban one and another one pops up. They all have deep fake human portraits, etc. I notice that none of these bots have verified NIP-05's, which might be an effective filtering mechanism, but there doesn't seem to be any way of filtering based on this in clients... So Client dev suggestion: Add "doesn't have NIP-05" or something like that as a filter?

GM... What's in a name? (Sub)Culture exists in contrast tension with naming. The kids who gathered in dank clubs like CBGBs in the 1970s to dance and thrash to loud music didn't know what they were doing at the time was "Punk music"... That has to be named later, by scenesters and journalists explaining it to confused adults.
