Web clients: #ditto is starting to become a serious contributor to #nostria for me...
The fast and smooth UI design was always a huge plus for Ditto, but what it lacked were hashtag feeds. Now they've implemented kind 10015, which is better than a kick in the pants, but still not the kind 30015 that Nostria has and what's really essential (IMHO) for good composable feeds.
What I'd still like to see on Ditto:
* Kind 30015 list support -- allow users to create "hashtag lists"
* Composable feeds of these hashtag lists, along with follows, user lists, etc -- don't force users into just "follows" feeds or "single hashtag" feeds
What Nostria's still got to work on:
* Speed, speed, speed. I still have to sit ~30+ seconds before I get my feeds to load.

Niche interests need LARGE social networks to form vibrant communities.... Conversely, small networks like Nostr can only sustain discussions (and vendors) who appeal to very broad interests. (1/n)

Show me you're a bot without saying it... Yeah I'm sure all the right-wing conspiracy Rumble channels are on FIRE over a regional transit card ๐คฃ

Pretty frustrating experience with the Clipper card system in the SF Bay Area... So if you buy one with Google Pay, then change phones, apparently it doesn't port over automatically.... And that's gonna cost you a ~30 minute phone call to recover it, no online option... ๐ค

Soooo neither #nostria nor #ditto seem to support NIP-84 highlights? ๐คจ
OK #asknostr, anyone have a browser-based Web highlighter extension that actually works? Lantern and Highlighter chrome extensions both feel like abandonware...
