Good morning and happy #Wednesday #NOSTR Fam! Looks like it's going to be a decent day weather wise in the #Keystone state. I woke up to a breezy 62 degrees. It feels a little more humid today then it was yesterday. But I'll take that compared to what we had last week. Highlight of my day will be "tire removal". I spent the last couple days sorting and stacking about 75 old car tires (a few rims as well) that were dumped on the property. According to one neighbor they've been there at least 8 years. So well before my watch. We put up some security cameras. Got that stuff stacked, staged and a crew is coming by to haul it all away this afternoon. Good morning and happy #Tuesday #NOSTR Fam! I was up before the alarm this morning, awoken to a breezy, cool 65 degrees in the #Keystone state. My kinda weather. LOVE IT! Another long one my friends. Bookmark it and maybe come back to it when time is on your side. So, as some of you may know, I left my job of 16 years last month. However, with the exception of my sisters and some close friends, I've for the most part kept that news to myself until this past weekend. As this new news circulated throughout my broader family and some rather more distant social circles the last couple days, it's been really interesting what the different reactions were from some folks. Some were supportive, others were funny (TPS reports and the Matrix type references) and from others I was like "wat-da-f@k". One cousin was like, "do you need some money?! I got you cuzzo". Haha. He's is the cannabis sector and this is not very popular with what one might consider a conservative Catholic family. But he's handling his business and so I got much respect. So, what are my next steps? I am building a new company. I don't yet know what products or services this company will sell. I've also not written off the possibility of acquiring an existing company. I am open to any possibility of paths. I've given myself a year to figure it out, well, about 10 more months to be exact. So what has kept me so mentally occupied this last month, one might ask?! I have been spending as much of my week, doing things that bring me joy and peace in the places that I enjoy. Much of that so far has been doing chores on the property in which the trailer is parked. The place (almost 12 acres) has gone woefully neglected during the years. The physical work makes me feel good and at the end of the day, I can usually, visually measure the work that I've accomplished. When things cool down in the fall, I plan on getting up to the North #Maine area and spending a few months there. I love Maine in the fall leading into the winter. My body feels healthiest in cool climates. I am most energized and productive in cool climates. I'll be desperate for some of that by the time I get through this summer working in the fields. I don't hate heat, but I'm one of the rare few that only enjoys the summer months when I'm at the pool or the beach. That translates to about 5-10 days out of the summer which I usually satisfy when I visit my folks and sister number 1 in the #Sunshine State. Well enough brain diahreah for this note. Good morning and happy Sunday #NOSTR fam! I hope this note finds you and yours in good spirits and optimism for the new day and the fresh week ahead. You can skip the rest of this note, I'm just going to boreass a bit about my week. You heard of the saying 3 steps forward and 2 steps back?! Well this week was busy as sh!t and broman still feels like he took 5 steps back. How come you might ask?! Family stuff that I committed to 3 months ago (when I was still on that hamster wheel) and just straight forgot. So that was that. We're all set now...I think. But yeah. Running around like a headless chicken was my week. But that's behind us. I'm off that hamster wheel and have been since 6/7. So that shouldn't happen again. I have a full week ahead, but I'm taking the day off anyway. Going to rest hang out in the right lane, probably shut the phone off for the day and just recharge. On a slightly different note. I consumed about 4 hours of RFK content last night. I see the appeal and I get it. But one thing comes to mind, well actually a few. He refers to "the kids" often. The kids are soldiers. The kids are the future generations. The kids are our legacy. You can interpret that one of 2 ways. Some patriarchal sh!t, I KNOW BEST. Or He's not doing any of this for himself. He believes in a future that could be. Jury still out on that for me. It also reminded me of another time. When Obama was elected president, my mom was genuinely disturbed. She was like, OMG, why would he put his family in this situation. He's got a beautiful family with young kids. They're going to JFK him. 🙄 But sounds like JFK is aware of this.
