One of the reasons that #decentralization of #bitcoin network is possible is how easy and cheap it is to run a full bitcoin #node . I am running mine on Raspberry Pi and it has been solid for almost 2 years. Now it needs fan replacement as it got loud. My node RoninDojo that is developed by #privacy freaks and amazing devs. I trust the developers with whom I stay in touch on their telegram. Another reason is the size of bitcoin blocks. The OGs won the blocksize war for a reason. Whole ledger fits currently on 1 TB harddrive. If the bigblockers won then only industrial size players would be able to run nodes on their huge servers and #plebs would be screwed. #SatoshiNakamato had that on his mind and we owe him and the OGs huge respect. Now we the PLEB are the guardians of consensus of most powerful monetary network in the world. It is our responsibility to : - run a full node. - run minimum one #bitaxe solo miner - #selfcustody - preach bitcoin principles and why they matter WE WILL DIE ON THIS HILL.
