Power was similar, though having power on a farm 40KM out of town would have been considered boujee. Having juice installed today is also similar, but considered a necessity. Some jurisdictions actually require it for a building permit, even if you're building off-grid and supplying your own power. Modern homesteading is for rich people confirmed.

I’ve been doing a weekly company blog for a few months and was including an audio version for those who didn’t have the inclination to read. This week I thought, “wait…these are basically podcast episodes, what’s to stop me from putting this on @Fountain? I was able to continue hosting straight from my website using Castos’ plugin (which also handles the V4V injection into the RSS feed).
