the path of an artist is jumbled in many ways because its the one endeavor where there are no rules. there is art made by blind people as well as art made by animals of the natural kingdom. you can listen to experts all day and none of it makes any sense really. And then the artist asks themselves what the hell am I doing here anyway? and that answer might never make any sense either. Theres art schools, which ideally the artist would get kicked out of, only to return by some random act of grace, only to be kicked out again in a revolving circle. Money, praise admiration. none of this suits an artist who is perpetually lost and wandering down hidden alleys. Staring at a large canvas my new thought process is to look forward a comprehensive project that is never finished. much in the same way that normal people avoid the thought of death. The brush moves in the same way a heart beats, and once again we must remind ourselves that whatever we think we might know isn’t always the reality for someone else. image

inspiration for the arts, all this tech isnt new. Moebius 3rd book is also known originally as "The Hermetic garage", but they thought people might be turned away by the esoteric word hermetic, so they used a synonym "Airtight" instead, which is interesting in itself. image

just had the weirdest thought. Whenever we think about a dead person, it actually brings them back to life, just not in a way that we can see, hear, touch, smell or taste. so basically that is a way to achieve immortality, but not in the way a common person would agree with.

I don’t consider my art good. which means I am not prideful. I actually think of it as rather bad. but I do consider the eyes who see it good, and this in my mind, makes my art great. whether its purchased or not feels irrelevant to me. it is only in the sharing of 4 eyes that I am concerned. and the travel between.
