I think people fail to realize code & os don't become decrepid. Someone just says i'm tired of this shit makes up a whole new shortcut of codes also known as shortcode then uses a "library" which is a reference point for original working code because that's how the internet works since the original codes been launched with the internet.

Technically speaking windows 95SE is still the most secure operating system on the planet. We had it right before you were probably even born everything after windows xp was to ensure that spyware & telemetry is installed. Even Vista & 7 have telemetry in it but you can super easily find it & shut it off. 8 & beyond you need certain tools or skills if you don't know the tools to disable it all, & w10 also w11 have to do some searching on how to fully disable windows defender that it don't keep turning itself back on & smartscreen when you shut them off.
Devs should be united around the world to take windows xp & moderize it which is to just add .dll files & other handlers that support what's missing to run the "modern software" which is really just bloat fucking shit work because oh my god someone really had a plug up their ass for borderless windows & glossy flair which 98% of the world don't give a shit about.
When we get to this point the real free open source community will really have made an achievement. You known when something becomes abandonware it's free reign so when will the open source community recreate windows xp? Call it XP Remastered & it's recreated code to copy windows xp & the rest just add every dll & support to make functions work there you go. Don't tell me it can't be done I can get w11 apps to run on w7 with one program which intercepts those .dll calls to the ones that don't exist & says hey i'll handle it.
Theres no excuse or technically it cannot be done all that is lacking is motivation. If a devs not motivated they got every excuse in the world about how it's technically not possible or unfeesible. A real developer the one who practices & hones their craft a real bringer of innovation does not say no. They accept the challenge & build it head on!
