Any average joe looking at this probably gets the assumption in their head that this is fraud. The people who made this site contradict nostr's philosophy that it's a censorship resistant network which allows people to send notes without resistance & anonymity. Go look at their explanation on how verifying works there is no direct answer other then only they can do it to make the notice go away.
Now go look up the definition of verification & verifying. They do not explain what the process is of verification I had to ask directly & look at my other post how the owner responds. It's shady as fuck this is competitor to kickstarter, gofundme, opencollaborative which ask you for your name, address, phone number, city, zipcode, & social security number.
Now you read the other note doesn't it seem like i'm being asked to provide real information about myself, bribe the guy, & get on a plane to his house? This isn't what nostr's about & this process if it requires any of the above is an attempt to scam me out of my real personal identification. In other words this process is bullshit & they want to scare you off so your not on your campaigns you may have interest in but their campaigns they are telling you is verified.
It's like this is verified because hes my friend, co-worker, or business partner. Only those people can get verified & make this scaremonger notice go away. We need to stop this now so how do we stop this bullshit from continuing on?
1. We all tell them this is wrong & express public outrage.
2. We create an alternative platform which uses nostr just like they do & have it in a decentralized way like nostr that anyone can host the site through their relay & control the verification.
We need platforms that follow the nostr philosophy which is anonymity that is a key part in being a censorship resistant network. I don't think the step one will work because their leader which has expressed in the other note at the end of the day the company decision don't mean jack it all comes down to my personal decision will come out of his narrowminded perception to reasonable senses.
I believe two is the answer because it gives that control to the people so everyone can have the capabilties & their own process if they wish. Also this step may force them to change & embrace the nostr philosophy because we will have taken the control away from them & have given it to you the people. By doing so this will cause them to lose traction & maybe only then they will think shit maybe we went about this the wrong way trying to be like the evil corporations asking for real personal information.
Maybe then they will embrace nostr's philosophy a censorship resistant network.

Good Morning Last night my phone almost died permanently. Somehow the charger wasn't charging the phone & it got so hot when I checked it I burnt my hand reading the warning on the screen phones hot taking steps to cool down. When I unplugged that charger the fucking thing was burning & sizzling smoke. The plastic around the metal piece completely melted.
My phone's charging port was abit melted too. I was like holy shit. I kept the phone in the freezer all night.
