China Accuses US of Undermining Trade Talks With Warnings Against Huawei Chips http://archive.today/b66rl The Chinese government accused the Trump administration of undermining recent trade talks in Geneva with its warning that using Huawei Technologies Co.’s artificial-intelligence chips “anywhere in the world” would violate US export controls. The Commerce Department had said in a statement last week that it was issuing guidance to make clear that the use of Huawei Ascend chips is a breach of the US government’s export controls. The agency said at the time that it would also warn the public about “the potential consequences of allowing US AI chips to be used for training and inference of Chinese AI models.”

Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) is urging her colleagues to vote down updated stablecoin legislation, arguing it fails to sufficiently address concerns related to President Trump’s crypto ties and leaves financial markets and consumers vulnerable. Risk of a star destroying the solar system is higher than expected Stars whizzing by our solar system could cause more havoc than astronomers previously thought, from sending Pluto’s orbit haywire to forcing Mercury to fly into the sun – or even catastrophically altering Earth’s orbit and climate. The overall risk of these events is still low, but the greater influence of passing stars means that events like these might be commonplace in other planetary systems.

The Universe Is 'Suspiciously' Like a Computer Simulation, Physicist Says We have long taken it for granted that gravity is one of the basic forces of nature – one of the invisible threads that keeps the universe stitched together. But suppose that this is not true. Suppose the law of gravity is simply an echo of something more fundamental: a byproduct of the universe operating under a computer-like code.

Prosecutors: 'Prison Awaits' Gates As Cancer-Causing DNA Found in Covid Vaccines In recent weeks, a series of leaked documents and whistleblower testimonies have begun to shed light on Gates’s role in what many are now calling a global crime against humanity—one that unfolded during the COVID-19 pandemic and may have cost millions of lives. But this didn’t start in 2020. For decades, Bill Gates has operated in plain sight—disguising domination as philanthropy. From unauthorized vaccine trials on vulnerable children in Africa and India, to experimental population programs disguised as humanitarian aid, he’s pursued a vision rooted not in healing… but in control. In eugenics. In quiet depopulation.

Scientists Sequenced the DNA of the ‘Last Neanderthal’— It Alters Human History Here’s what you’ll learn when you read this story: In 2015, a paleoanthropology team discovered jaw remains of a roughly 42,000-year-old Neanderthal in France. Over the next several years, the team, led by Ludovic Slimak, found more of the Neanderthal’s remains and began to analyze its genome. Despite its proximity to other groups of Neanderthals and the era’s modern humans, the lineage of the specimen, dubbed “Thorin,” found by Slimak managed to stay totally isolated from groups of other early beings.

Grok's 'white genocide' auto responses show AI chatbots can be tampered After xAI's Grok chatbot provided scores of users with false claims about 'white genocide' in South Africa, the company admitted the error was caused by humans. AI experts say that the incident underscores a key problem with AI chatbots in that they can be manipulated by people. Deirdre Mulligan, a professor at the University of California at Berkeley, called it an "algorithmic breakdown" that "rips apart at the seams" the supposed neutral nature of AI models.
