The Blue Jays are very lucky to have a chance to go to 5-1 today. Many of the ABs this year have been utterly abysmal.

Tough work but somebody has to do it.

Pretty wild icicles dangling from the side of a nearby building.

Pregame dog walking music. Taking advantage of the current mild winter weather.

I can’t believe Alan dated Chris Cornell’s widow. Alan needs to join our league next year!

Great episode. I like the concept of getting comfortable with discomfort. Something I have been at the last few years.

@Jer it was just procedural to keep him out of rule 5 but Tiedemann as the Little replacement in 2026, sign me up.
49ers aren’t taking anything less than a top 50 pick for Mac Jones. They have him under contract on a cheap deal for next season and will get a 3rd or 4th round comp pick when he leaves as a FA. No point in trading him unless the offer is too good to refuse.

My prediction for game 7. I have no clue what’s going to happen but I don’t think it’s going to be that close. I think whoever wins will win by 3 or more. Maybe just wishful thinking for my blood pressure. Haha
Best 2 out of 3 now!
Well that was one hell of a game.
Lukes just swang at 3 consecutive ball fours with the bases loaded in the 12th inning. Jays have been so inconsistent today.
Pivotal game in the World Series tonight. A win for the Blue Jays ensures the series comes back to Toronto. A win for the Dodgers sets them up to potentially sweep at home and close it out or at very least take a 3-2 lead back to Toronto.
Game 1 Blue Jays played their game and won. Game 2 Dodgers played their game and won.
Let’s see what Game 3 brings Monday night.
Game 2 game plan should be the same as game one. Get to that Dodgers bullpen.
Let’s go Blue Jays!
The Blue Jays starting Yesavage in game 1 is an interesting choice. I don’t think Gausman threw enough Monday to keep him from starting but I think they like him on more rest and I am guessing with the Dodgers coming off a long rest they want to throw something at them they haven’t seen before.
I like the move but I don’t like that it sets up Yesavage for game 5 in LA which unless you are up 3-1 is a crucial game.
Dodgers biggest weakness is their bullpen. Blue Jays biggest strength is being a major pain to pitch against, driving up starters pitch counts and getting them out of the games early.
The series may very well come down to how many innings the Dodgers bullpen has to throw.
Game 7 should be fun. Stressful but fun.
