Lunch time #gym sesh. One of the perks of working from home, I should have been doing this years ago. Too bad my WFH days are being reduced now 😪

I wonder if an idea for "scaleability" for #bitcoin l1 in the future looks like some sort of co ordinator putting txs out in batches kind of like coinjoin rounds. Like, you broadcast your tx with the amount that you want to pay in fees and then the co ordinator takes all the inputs and outputs and sorts it all out. Would be good for privacy potentially, and perhaps power in numbers of people willing to pay fees would help the group txs. Probably wouldn't save any blockspace though would it? Still going to be lots of ins and outs. Thinking in terms of people using bitcoin as a monetary layer and how large numbers of people can do that with finite blockchain space.

Back and arms at the #gym tonight. Always a bit scary when the ole' back feels a hit fucky anyway. But when it comes down to it none of the movements I do hurt my back (I'm not doing deadlifts...)

Trying to get back to going to the #gym again more consistently. Good news is I don't seem to have lost *too* much strength, but what I have lost is my conditioning. Proper taking it out of me!

Whoop! My new #node is up and running and I have private and secure access to my wallets again!

Fulcrum was up to about 70% indexed before I left home for the fiat mines this morning. If I'm really lucky itl be done this evening at some point and I can build the last few bits of my newest #bitcoin #node running in a #proxmox container.

Now indexing my #node with #fulcrum which is a super fast indexer, my favourite of those I've used so far. Again like with the ibd, the first 35% roared past as the blocks were pretty light back then, but slowed right down now for all the full blocks. Will get slower and slower till it finishes. Nearly all done though now which is exciting!

Last 2% of my current #IBD left on my #bitcoin #node. Exciting! Time to build the indexer next, going to be using #Fulcrum cos it's fast AF! Then time for more waiting...

#IBD going reaaaaally slow now. Up to about 83% in just over 24 hours, which isn't actually that bad as far as these things go. Been a trip learning to build my own #node from the KYC3 guide. Only ever used prepackaged installers before.

Spun up a new #bitcoin #node, had to nuke the last one. So IBD times again! Got the first 400k blocks (the easy half), thats 12.5% through the blockchain. Got a long way to go! Following the guide on: Kyc3.life
