Another Friday in the FIAT mines. End of my second week in a new job and the workload is starting to pick up after a bit of a slow start. Been nice to have time to do research into a few things I would like to work on, such as accessing APIs and working with LLMs.

Trying to get my head around #API calls today.
Trying to use an API to the Ordnance Survey to check postcodes against their records.
I've realised that even though I have a bad back, I still need to go to the gym.
None of my exercises actually make my back hurt, and some make it feel better. Taking time off the gym to "rest my back" makes no difference, so I may as well keep going. That said, sometimes moving the weights about themselves can feel a bit rough...
I do really need to strengthen my core significantly, as I neglect it outside of my big compound lifts, but I think it's the real secret to having a strong back.

Hamstring machine in #gym has been broken for a week or so, so I used the little thing where you put your feet in and kind of good morning as it were? So using hammies to pull my upper body weight back up. My hams are soooore today

So i think I missed about 3 months of going to the #gym in total, though a did a session here and there. I'm now 3 weeks back into going consistently, and seeing alot of improvement already. I reckon another 3 weeks maybe and I'll be back to where I was before I fell off. It does come back quick!
