Here is another example of ICE picking up someone who is legally in the country but his PERMANENT RESIDENCY STATUS has not been fully processed yet. This person has an EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION DOCUMENT(EAD). A person ILLEGALLY IN THIS COUNTRY CANNOT GET THAT WORK PERMIT. People who have EAD are in the process of getting their authorization to PERMANENTLY LIVE IN AMERICA DETERMINED. ICE IS PICKING UP THESE GROUP OF IMMIGRANTS AND DETAINING THEM UNTIL THEIR PERMANENT STATUS IS DETERMINED. WHICH WILL TAKE 30-90 DAYS TO PLAY OUT. IN THE END THEY WILL WIN BECAUSE THIS PERSON IS NOT AN ILLEGAL IN THE COUNTRY. THIS IS SIMPLY A MONEY GRAB FOR PRIVATE IMMIGRATION JAILS. $40 BILLION OF ICE BUDGET IS FOR DETENTIONS. Now there is some broad support for all immigrants to be deported out of America regardless of their legal status but LEGALLY THIS IS AGAINST CURRENT AMERICAN LAWS.
