I’m sure it’s a hard bug to fix, but I find that I am faster than the @primal interface. I find myself clicking @ mentions over and over trying to get it to refresh. Then I click on news by mistake and it’s loading. Then back to main feed. Then I hit mentions a few more times. If nothing moves i’ll probably kill the app and start it again. Twitter takes all this abuse, primal not so much. Also missing GIF button. image

It says I have new notifications but when I tap the bell, nothing happens. @primal ux.

Did you know, if you draft a note and don’t publish, pop out to another app, @primal eats the note? Seems like a bug worth fixing to me. Also needs GIF button.

There’s a rumor that the creator of Winamp is at @bitfest. If that’s true, come meet me and do an interview. I’d love to talk about Winamp and early MP3 days. It really whips the llama’s ass. image

Users become the antibodies, if a project or company tries to take control, is the natural immune system kicks in. And I call this the Adam Smith invisible bitch slap. - @Ben Arc

Users are not locked into a client. Use. Can have cryptographs of autonomy from the data is produced if they don't like the client they're using. They can just use different clients. If users are unhappy with all clients, they can build their own clients. And also to complete the permissionless development environment, they want to build everything. @Ben Arc

And worse, perhaps than all that, is the algorithm, which exists just to capture profit, which has no duty of care to users, doesn't care about us or the impact it has on humanity. It really is just to engage users at any cost for as long as possible so they can sell you to advertise this or bully you into a paid plan. - @Ben Arc
