You can't cheer on lawless destruction of life and free speech by the state, while opposing isolated individual acts of violent protest, without tacitly endorsing the kind of dehumanisation which eventually leads to war and genocide. Like it or not, Elon represents the state, and not only do his actions sicken and repulse people, his very presence, as a rotten, kleptocratic, unaccountable, worm-tongue, represents the degeneration and destitution of Western Democracy throughout the world. I personally wouldn't torch a tesla because I respect the universal law regardless of how the powerful act, not to mention the fact that individual tesla owners don't necessarily have anything to do with Elon, but you know, violence is the language of the unheard, so I'm willing to listen.

Damn, disappointed that Alby Hub's lightning channel is "use it or lose it". I'd heard complaints that it was, but thought "we'll see how it goes and hope for the best". Well, looks like the channel closed and the 20K sats, which I thought I spent to ensure my future ability to zap and be zapped, got pissed away into the ether. I know it's technically my fault for not being vigilant enough, but can't users expect things to "just work"? I guess not at this stage, but eventually, if there is ever going to be wider adoption, there needs to be redundancy and resilience built-in in order to overcome users' frustration with technical limitations.
