“Last summer I visted a surrealist exposition in Veneta. Most paintings looked as if they were painted from memory, and lacked the realism that for instance Dali paintings have. It's understandable that it's difficult to paint scenes that do not actually exist.
That's why I found the use of AI's like DALL-E so exciting, as they can create realistic surrealist imigary, 'by mistake' as it were.
I've added some details of the surrealistic vibe that I liked so much in this composition created by DALL-E. Let's call it 'Dutch Surrealism' (a wink to the Dutch realism of the 17th century).”
