I don't understand why so much of my timeline is filled with people complaining about an upstart mining pool building blocks how they want to. Mining pools have been creating whatever block templates they want forever. Why cry about freedom, then try and complain it away. Freedom is about choice. Right now, individuals have the majority of the Bitcoin in existence. These ETFs will look to fill their coffers with the corn of those large holders of Bitcoin. Coinbase is the custodial choice for most of the US-offered ETFs. Therefore selling into those ETFs by way of their authorized participants is giving your coins over to Anakin and the Death Star. Understand this is to be a pivotal point in Bitcoin's existence. Because Coinbase potentially holding the majority of coins would create an incredible honey pot for the Gov't to confiscate Bitcoin like they did with Gold in 1933. Who better to bully than a publicly traded, heavily regulated entity? Coinbase is the Bank of All Crypto Banks. Understand Self-Custody, and understand the path to freedom is not about finding a new overlord. It's about becoming more and more sovereign daily. Make the old money fight over the scraps.
