I am patching up my lightning channels this weekend. Any recommendations/best practices to follow when opening a new channel? I know the bigger the better. But what’s the difference between opening channels with the monster @Wallet of Satoshi node vs something still routing payments, but smaller?

Idk who needs to hear this. But it’s a great night to consolidate your UTXOs. Don’t know what that means? Just send all your coins to a new address in your same wallet. Do this when fees are low, so when mining fees are high your inputs are smaller which will decrease your fees. And open a lightning channel ⚡️

It’s kind of mind blowing that nostr will never disappear. Cenmedia servers will eventually be censored to the point of disappearing. But this protocol will live forever ♾️
