Saint Lupos, servant and martyr of Saint Demetrios, witnessed Demetrios' martyrdom and dipped his garments in Demetrios' blood, receiving miraculous power to heal and cast out demons. He destroyed pagan idols with this power. Arrested for his faith, he refused to sacrifice to idols and was beheaded, joining his master in eternal glory. Despite her virginity, she accepted God's will, becoming the Theotokos, the Mother of God. She journeyed to Bethlehem with Joseph, where Jesus was born in a manger. She presented Him in the Temple and fled to Egypt to escape Herod. Mary witnessed Jesus' ministry, crucifixion, and resurrection. He left his hermitage to warn the nearby villagers, urging them to seek refuge in the mountains. He helped them escape, then returned to his cave, where he was martyred by the Tatars.
