Correct me if I’m wrong but although you may have read many books the one that for some strange reason keeps evading you is the Catechism of the Catholic Church. May I recommend you read it. I am very fond of science and the scientific method and if you’d accept my recommendation and read the book you would be part of my “experiment” and an additional data point for truth.
