#Bitcoin is the only thing that could survive a full fledged attack from the US government. Everything else is a security, with centralized figures of power and control, that could be coerced into shutting things down. There's no reason to risk capital in fragile assets when the hardest asset in human history is an option.

Being unreasonably stubborn can be a great strength. For example, I'll not only never sell my #bitcoin for fiat, I've never even heard a remotely good reason to do so. My stubbornness protects my stack.
