As we slide into the holidays and life chills out, I’ve actually got time to read again. What books from 2025 should be on everyone’s radar? #books #bookclub

Anyone else embarrassed by their 2025 Spotify Wrapped? Mine says I spent the year trapped in a musical hostage situation run by children.

I’ve always loved Mike Green’s work, but this one hits different. It’s his magnum opus. I’ve felt this for a long time, he just explains it in a way that makes everything click. If you read nothing else today, make sure this is the one and share this to anyone that you care about. ___ The American Dream isn’t about thriving anymore. It’s about trying to survive. When I talk to young people today, you can see it in their eyes: the exhaustion, the quiet sadness. Life isn’t about building a future, starting families, or buying homes. It’s about clawing your way above the poverty line. People aren’t avoiding relationships because they don’t care, they’re avoiding them because they literally can’t afford the cost of connection. Nights out, meeting new people, even small moments of joy feel like luxuries. Happiness is on pause. Life experiences are on hold. Survival has become the only goal. https://www.yesigiveafig.com/p/part-1-my-life-is-a-lie?utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web

The Bitcoin payment layer is here. Square merchants can now plug directly into the future of money. Fiat finally has competition. nostr:note13lfjujzffd2lum3q6kjgszp2pg3qnrq3mgd9qrestw7rxvppqlqq2s6503

Great insight. It’s all about knowing yourself, doing the work, then trusting your gut. Balance thought with action and make confident choices that feel true to you. nostr:note1a5vxg2tf60sz8f5hnjmecjpjxczxfkrqap455qrdxr5cccm64yaqyme8ns

I spent 4+ hours watching Lex Fridman interview Pavel Durov, the founder of Telegram. I can’t stop thinking about it. Pavel’s charisma is subtle but powerful. He seems to carry a sense of ease, peace, and freedom that’s rare to see today. You can literally see the gears turning before he answers anything. Every word feels intentional. And despite English not being his first language, he communicates with more clarity than most. The conversation hits on many topics: freedom (of speech), privacy, censorship, health, money, being arrested and poisoned. If you’re into deep, meaningful dialogue and want to get your gears churning, this is a must-watch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qjPH9njnaVU

Exactly. The fastest way to get more is to become worth more. When I was a recent college grad starting my first job, my priority wasn’t asking for more — it was learning everything I could about the role, then expanding beyond it. I focused on becoming the hardest worker in my group, then in the entire office. I wanted my work and my interactions with colleagues and clients to speak for itself. nostr:note10w5440f7k6pz8d02d3vuzsfv4pkg89fdkx3sl9sn8svthzj2c8hqzzssz9
