Imagine working your entire life, only to be told that your broken body didn’t work hard or long enough — after paying into a retirement system you were forced to be a part of. This is so insulting. They say we have to work harder? How about stop spending and printing fiat. #bitcoin ———- “We will have to work harder if we want to preserve the scope of social insurance without leaving even more burdens on future generations at the same time. Germany’s Council of Economic Experts recommends gradually raising the retirement age from 67 to 73 by 2060 to prevent the social security system from collapsing. The proposal aims to address economic stagnation, low productivity, deindustrialization, and demographic challenges that require people to work longer to maintain economic output.

The dollar has depreciated approximately 10% in the first half of this year. It's the single biggest decline in the U.S. dollar in six months in 50 years. Change your thinking. Save in #bitcoin and protect your wealth.

I’m really looking forward to these next six days off to spend time with my kids. I’m planning to stay off my phone as much as possible and just be present with them. With no work or obligations to worry about, it should be easy to unplug. Time’s flying by, and I want to make the most of it—especially while they still actually want to hang out with me.

$IBIT is Blackrocks most profitable ETF. It is almost $100 billion AUM. Check out the ages of the other ETFs in the top 10. It’s wild how Vanguard fumbled the bag due to their stubborn ideology. They lost a lot of young clients and now they are scrambling to catch up. image

Signal is choosing to leave the EU instead of complying with the EU's proposed mass-surveillance law. We've already sacrificed so much of our privacy over the years—how much more are we willing to lose? image

Happy beautiful Sunday. I’m blessed to see another sunrise on this beautiful Earth. Had a #Bitcoin chat today with my developer friend — the one who got a Strike wallet a couple months ago and started dollar-cost averaging (mostly, I think, just to get me off his back rather than out of real conviction). His (predictable) takes on Bitcoin as “money” were: • It’s still mostly a speculative asset, not a stable medium of exchange • Too risky and volatile. • Most people are naturally risk-averse • Most Bitcoiners are in it for profit • The U.S. dollar, historically, has been relatively stable I used my standard lines to strike down these comments. How do you address these questions to your family and friends? It’s amazing why when it comes to money it’s so hard to show them why they are losing even though they see it. I get that it’s a change to a system as old as time. But throughout history money has changed. We are lucky enough to be witnessing and being part of the version upgrade in our lifetimes.

I love the panic that hits when someone’s trying to parallel park and I pull up behind them. If they can’t nail it on the first try, they just bail. Cracks me up every time.

Remember, even as Bitcoin climbs back toward its highs, it’s still far from reaching its true potential. Stay grounded, the real reward of Bitcoin comes from practicing low time preference. #Bitcoin → ₿120,246 ₿lock height → 917,402

Blockchain almost synced and I’m honestly shocked at how simple it was to spin up StartOS with a Bitcoin node. It took under 15 minutes. If you believe in Bitcoin, you owe it to yourself to run one. #bitcoin #freedom image

Perfect Saturday: wrapped up the kids’ last soccer games of the season ⚽️. On the drive back, we ended up having a surprisingly deep, kid-level chat about how money actually works. Skipped the Bitcoin talk this time (always gets an eye roll). Kept it to money basics and the cracks in the system. Step one: understand the problem.

Starmer: "You will not be able to work in the United Kingdom if you do not have a digital ID, it's as simple as that". It took the United States 20 years to implement the Real ID act, which wasn’t a digital ID. How long is this pet project going to take? Maybe connect your bank accounts to your digital ID while you’re at it. I known a company named Equifax who can help secure your database.
