Despite the separate Chinese NOTAMs being issued for today’s SLBM test that landed in the Pacific’s nuclear-weapon-free zone, Taiwanese Secretary General of the National Security Council Joseph Wu said that the trajectory of the test launched passed just north of the Philippines’ Luzon Island, calling the move a “provocation.” In addition to the statement, Japan’s Kyodo News has said that the missile did not fly over Japan’s exclusive economic zone or its airspace, which lends some credence to Secretary Wu’s claims that the launch originated in the South China Sea, passing Luzon, and not the Bohai Sea. This post will be updated should additional information come out.

According to the Kyiv Independent, Ukraine has effectively exhausted its stockpile of Patriot PAC-3 interceptors, significantly reducing its ability to defend against Russian ballistic missile attacks.
During Russia’s latest large-scale strike, Ukrainian officials said 23 ballistic missiles and six 3M22 Zircon hypersonic missiles reached their targets. At the same time, Ukrainian air defenses reportedly intercepted 37 cruise missiles and 326 drones. Officials attributed the disparity to a shortage of Patriot PAC-3 interceptors, one of the few systems capable of reliably intercepting ballistic missiles.
The shortage comes amid surging global demand for Patriot interceptors, with U.S. inventories under pressure due to commitments in the Middle East and other regions. Ukrainian officials say the situation has allowed Russia to place greater emphasis on ballistic missile strikes against cities and critical infrastructure.

Trump: "I wish Chicago would call me. If Chicago would call me, I would wipe out crime so fast. We would remove the hardcore criminals like I did in Washington DC."
President Trump on Iran:
“We’re going to be getting what I call the ‘dust’—the enriched nuclear material. I call it nuclear dust.
I authorized the operation for one reason above all: Iran cannot be allowed to obtain a nuclear weapon.
I’m not seeking regime change, although you could say this is regime change. The first regime is gone. The second regime is gone. I think the third regime is more reasonable—but we’ll see.”
Senator Ted Cruz to Trump:
On behalf of all Americans, thank you for getting rid of that ridiculous red card.
Trump: "I didn't know what the hell a red card was. When I found out, I said, 'You gotta be kidding!'"
Trump on White House ballroom: "Glass windows that can withstand any form of shot, rifle, drone, nothing gets through. Steel walls. Steel ceiling. Extra strength. It's really an amazing thing. And yet all of that security made it more beautiful. We've actually taken security and made it a beautiful thing."
Trump: “If Belgium wins the game, its people can be very proud. But if they had won with that player still on the field, it would have been a different story. You can’t do that, and I’m very glad.
All I did was ask for a review. I didn’t say, ‘You have to do this.’
Gianni Infantino is a smart, tough man. He’s handled this well, and his reputation has gone through the roof.”
Turkish President Erdoğan:
"Zionism is a genocidal, expansionist ideology that threatens me personally, our party, and everyone. Our struggle against it is for the collective survival of our nation."
Asked about a Supreme Court appointment, Trump floated Sen. Ted Cruz, joking every senator would confirm him to get him out of the chamber.
"He's the only one I can think of that's going to get 100 votes. All Republicans and Democrats would vote for him because they want to get him the hell out of the Senate."
Trump: "After a truly historic weekend celebrating the 250th anniversary of America, today, we're thrill to officially launch the TRUMP ACCOUNTS."
A review of commercial shipping traffic through the Strait of Hormuz over the past 24 hours, visible via MarineTraffic, shows the vast majority of vessels continue to transit via the Iranian (northern) traffic separation scheme, with only a small number opting for the U.S.-supported southern corridor through Omani waters.
AIS use is not mandatory, so the number of vessels that transited is likely higher.
The Commander of the Systems of Unmanned Systems, Madyar, reported that two Russian shadow fleet tankers delivering gasoline to annexed Crimea - each carrying 7,000 tons of fuel - were attacked in the Sea of Azov. Additionally, SBS "birds" struck two S-400 SAM systems in Crimea and the Bryansk region, as well as an oil depot and a "Nebo-U" radar system in Kerch.
Netanyahu: It concerns me that there's that element of anti-Israel in the Democratic Party and the woke right. The people who hate Israel end up hating America. When those Americans who support Israel do demonstrations, they wave Israeli flag and they wave the American flag.
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu: "The Christian villages in Lebanon... Some of them have actually asked to be annexed to Israel because we protect them against Hezbollah."
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu: "We're not in a permanent state of war. I, myself, with President Trump, we brought forth four peace deals. It's not only the Christians in Lebanon who ask for our protection. It's the Druze, it's Muslims, Sunni Muslims, and quite a few of the Shiite Muslims too."
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu dismissed reports of a growing rift with U.S. President Donald Trump, calling their relationship “excellent.”
Speaking to Fox News, Netanyahu said the two have occasional “tactical disagreements,” but added, “In 99% of cases we see eye to eye.” He compared the differences to those in “every family” and “every close friendship,” saying they discuss them openly.
