When asked about a reported meeting between Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) and senior Trump Administration officials — including Attorney General Pam Bondi, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, and FBI Director Kash Patel — allegedly aimed at persuading Boebert not to sign a petition demanding the full release of the Epstein Files, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt responded:
“Doesn’t it show transparency that members of the Trump Administration are willing to brief members of Congress whenever they please? Doesn’t that demonstrate our commitment to openness?”
Democrats on the House Oversight Committee released several emails today between convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and his co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell. The messages were among thousands of documents obtained after the committee subpoenaed the Epstein Estate earlier this year.
One email, dated April 2, 2011, shows Epstein referring to President Donald J. Trump as “the dog that hasn’t barked,” adding that a redacted victim “spent hours at my house with him — he has never once been mentioned. police chief. etc. im 75% there.”

Scott Bessent on Trump’s $2K checks and 2026 tax refunds:
"$2K rebate - that would be for families making less than $100,000. We have not [decided]. It's in discussion."
"The other thing - what we did with the tax bill is financing the president's no tax on tips, overtime - the big refunds you will see are the result of that. That's another payment to the American people."
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz has ordered the complete shutdown of Galei Tzahal, commonly known as Israeli Army Radio, with its final broadcast scheduled no later than March 1, 2026. The state-funded, nationwide radio network—operated by the Israel Defense Forces—has been on the air for more than 75 years, broadcasting in both Hebrew and English since its first transmission on September 24, 1950.
The decision follows years of criticism from both the political left and right in Israel, each accusing Galei Tzahal of partisan bias. The current government under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has gone further, alleging that the station has publicly criticized the military and undermined the government’s handling of the war in Gaza.

Syrian interim president Ahmed al-Sharaa told The Washington Post:
“I’ve fought in many wars, but I have never caused the death of an innocent person.
Anyone who takes up arms must have a strong moral foundation.
Our region has suffered from Western and U.S. policies, and today, many Americans agree with us — that some of those policies were mistakes, leading to needless wars and immense human suffering.”

Lara Trump: I'd say John Fetterman has more in common with Donald Trump than those in his own party. What I would advise the Democrats, if you want to win anyone back into your party, you ought to start acting like John Fetterman.
Footage posted earlier today on the Chinese social media platform WeChat shows the collapse of a large section of the Hongqi Bridge in Sichuan Province, southwestern China, on Tuesday morning. The 758-meter-long bridge, completed earlier this year to connect China’s heartland with Tibet, had been closed by police on Monday after inspectors discovered significant cracks in its concrete structure. The damage was reportedly caused by worsening conditions and landslides on a nearby mountain, which appear to have led to the bridge’s collapse on November 11.
Twenty members of the Turkish Armed Forces were killed earlier today when a C-130E Hercules, on a routine flight between Ganja International Airport in Azerbaijan and Turkey, appeared to break apart midair and crash in southeastern Georgia—roughly three miles from the Azerbaijani border.
White House economic adviser Kevin Hassett said Tuesday that the U.S. economy is expected to return to growth of 3% to 4% by the first quarter of 2026.

Trump: "We have officially renamed the Department of Defense back to the original name, Department of War. And remember we won World War 1, we won World War 2, we won everything in between. We won everything that came before. And then we brilliantly decided to change the name. We became politically correct"
Trump: "I was recently at an event and I saw that France was celebrating Victory Day, but we didn't. And I saw France was celebrating another Victory Day for World War 2. And other countries were celebrating. They were all celebrating. We're the one that won the wars."
Trump: "Beautiful B2 bombers. Aren't they beautiful now? We respect them so much. What a job they did.
That in an instant completely obliterated Iran's nuclear capability, of which we've just ordered - I have to say - many more of the updated versions of that incredible piece of art."

The man standing next to President Trump once fought against U.S. forces in Iraq, was captured, and spent five years in a prison for terrorists, where he became radicalized. After his release, he founded the Syrian branch of the terrorist group al-Qaeda. The U.S. offered a $10 million reward for his capture — one of the highest bounties at the time. He went on to lead the offensive that overthrew former Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad and took power in Damascus. He has declared himself anti-Iran and pro-Israel.
He was received yesterday at the White House, officially recognized as the new president of Syria.
