The U.S. has issued another NOTAM, this time covering Curaçao and nearly the entire southern Caribbean Sea between Venezuela and Puerto Rico. A NOTAM is a notice countries can issue to alert airlines that flying through a certain airspace may be “dangerous.” In this new NOTAM, the U.S. warns that unidentified aircraft may be operating in the area — its way of referring to military aircraft, such as fighter jets. With this new NOTAM, flights passing through the region will be even more affected, which may include routes connecting Brazil to the U.S. and Central America.

After several days of bipartisan outrage in Congress over a 28-point Ukraine peace proposal described as having been drafted jointly by U.S. and Russian officials, Republican Sen. Mike Rounds announced tonight—after speaking with Secretary of State Marco Rubio—that the circulating document was in fact written by the Russians, not the United States. Sen. Angus King said the leaked plan, reportedly given to White House Special Envoy Steve Witkoff by individuals claiming to represent Russia, amounted to a Russian “wishlist” of demands and did not reflect the Trump Administration’s position. Neither Rounds, King, nor other senators seemed to understand why it took the administration more than three days to clarify that the 28-point plan did not originate from the U.S. State Department. Republican senators attending the Halifax delegation also said Secretary Rubio told them he had no knowledge of any “ultimatum” requiring Ukraine to accept the ceasefire terms before Thanksgiving under threat of losing U.S. military and intelligence support. image

Trump slammed Rep. Thomas Massie as the worst Republican in history and criticized Marjorie Taylor Greene for supporting him, saying their split was simply a disagreement. Q: Are you willing to forgive Greene? TRUMP: “Forgive her for what? I just disagreed with her. She decided to back what may be the worst GOP congressman in our history — a stupid person named Massie. And I said, ‘Go your own way.’ Once I stepped away, she resigned, because she never would’ve survived a primary. But I think MT Greene is a nice person.”

The website includes a payout “menu” for attacks on Israeli academics: • $1,000 for posting warnings at their homes • $5,000 for any identifying intelligence • $20,000 for setting a target’s car or home on fire • $50,000 for killing a listed target • $100,000 for assassinating a so-called “priority target” image

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said it had no involvement in the “peace plan” presented by the U.S. to Ukraine. If that is truly the case, and if those 28 points were drafted solely by the United States, the Kremlin is celebrating today.

The president of Iran has said that the country’s capital, Tehran, will have to be evacuated due to a lack of water. According to him, this option—despite being costly—“is no longer optional.” For decades, Iran invested heavily in its nuclear program (partially destroyed in the U.S. attack) and in financing terrorist groups in the Middle East, such as Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis, while neglecting vital infrastructure projects like dams and water-management programs needed to supply the capital. The result of this irresponsible policy can now be seen in the imminent urgent evacuation of nearly 10 million people.

U.S. President Donald J. Trump is weighing an Executive Order that would preempt state-level artificial intelligence laws, warning that states attempting to restrict AI development could face federal lawsuits or the loss of federal funding. The order would also direct Attorney General Pam Bondi to create an AI Litigation Task Force. According to *Reuters*, the order would instruct the Department of Commerce to review state AI laws and develop guidelines that could, in some cases, lead to the withholding of broadband funding. The move comes after the Senate voted 99–1 earlier this year to reject an effort to block states from passing their own AI regulations. image
