Speaking to the Financial Times, U.S. President Donald J. Trump, has said that he “calls the shots” and that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will be forced to accept any deal that the U.S. and Iran agree upon. Per President Trump, “it’s [Iran’s recent strikes on Israel and Israeli strikes in Beirut, Lebanon] not going to have any impact on the deal,” speaking on the potential for a U.S.-Iran deal in the near future. image

An unknown aircraft, possibly a U.S. or Israeli surveillance drone, crashed tonight in the desert to the southwest of Baghdad in Eastern Iraq. The aircraft, which was initially claimed by several local outlets to have been a commercial airliner, though this has since been debunked, crashed around the start of the Iranian ballistic missile attack earlier against Northern Israel.

A Ukrainian MiG-29 intercepting a Russian aerial threat (either a drone or a cruise missile) using an R-73 air-to-air missile. This is a short-range missile capable of engaging targets at distances ranging from 300 meters to 31 kilometers. Simple and relatively inexpensive, it was produced in the millions during the Cold War and throughout the 1990s in Ukrainian factories, which is why a vast stockpile of these missiles remains available today.

During an interview with NBC News’ *Meet the Press* last week, U.S. President Donald J. Trump became visibly frustrated as host Kristen Welker questioned him about claims he and other administration officials have made regarding the integrity of the 2020 presidential election, which was won by Joe Biden. The interview ended abruptly when Trump criticized several major news organizations, saying, “Your elections are crooked and you’re crooked and Meet the Press is crooked and so is ABC and CBS and CNN. You’re one-sided crooked networks. So let's call it quits because I've had enough. Thank you, darling. Have a good time.”
