Following up to this… @jack mallers I’m asking in good faith, if Strike is THE Bitcoin company and you believe fiercely in the future of Bitcoin and its appreciation, what reason is there to call away Bitcoin loans when the price goes down? If Bitcoin is the best collateral and is going to be 1M a coin in the not so distant future, isn’t having the original sat amount locked in the account good enough without closing out loans? Bitcoin +19% on the 5 year chart ☠️ +3.5% CAGR, a bond would’ve performed better. DCA fixes a lot of this but let me represent the class of 2020 and say that OGs had it better. Imagine if Bitcoin had been +19% from 2011-2016 or from 2014-2019. Very different world.
