and miswak, rose water, olive oil, honey, pumice stone, alum stone, argan oil, henna. 👀
Sometimes I'm "amazed" to see why people would rather trust new flashy products than centuries-old practices.

I love cooking and sewing. 🪡
One of the best feelings: home is all cleaned and smelling nice, and I am finally able to sit down peacefully to learn and create.

This style is called counted embroidery. 🪡
It really is as simple as counting, along with focus and patience, that's exactly what the fiat money-powered economy is destroying.

Got mixed feelings whenever I look at Instagram. Since when has this become a norm? Doing whatever it takes to get attention, then selling products: marketing > product quality in the fiat world.
I miss the old ways of quietly crafting and word of mouth. Will Bitcoin bring it back?

The kind of afternoon I like: listening to Fairuz, having coffee, and learning embroidery. 🪡

Just had a test with nostr.boutique 🧪 the experience was much wow! @Clara
I'm amazed by how simple it is, this is actually how things should be.

What fasting taught me:
- It's okay to slow down in a world constantly craving for speed.
- Don't take anything for granted, feel the hunger, help those in need.
- Self-discipline: controlling your mind over desire is really empowering.

Pay it forward in Nostr, nice idea @Seth

Society taught us to get a high-paying job, work 9-6, then we can afford to buy those luxury brands, thus being "happy," but how about using those precious time to learn and produce the things we actually need? Of course, we can't do everything ourselves; that's why community is important.
The experience with Nostr so far has been good. I particularly love seeing photos without filters; it feels like back to the start of social media, when people genuinely want to connect and share ideas.
Any cooking or sewing lovers here? I would love to connect with you.
