Foundry just found 7 blocks in a row. With just under 29% of network hashrate the odds of that happening are about 0.016%. Neat image

Anyone posting a lot about MSTR on Nostr? Main thing keeping me on Twitter these days. In case you haven’t heard MSTR is not just a bitcoin proxy, it’s potentially in the early innings of an epic squeeze that’s going to make GME look like a wet fart. Bitcoin + low float + cheap debt + SP500 inclusion + short squeeze + gamma squeeze + many other things. Completely unique situation in market history. Obligatory: most people should just hold spot bitcoin, this is overly risky and degenerate.

Good morning. What’s to stop tradfi institutions from naked shorting GBTC to force outflows and free up coins while staying delta neutral by going long a different etf? No one talking about this, but I’m pretty sure it’s happening. AlthoughI wouldn’t be surprised if I have some details wrong. I do not buy that this is all bankruptcy liquidations or individuals rotating to lower fee etfs. Outflows are nearly a perfect match to Blackrock inflows every day.

Speculation: OG dumps 1000 coins at the top. OG goes mega leveraged short at the same time. OG scoops up way more than 1000 coins after leverage wipe. OG proves OG’s are still in control of this market when they want to be. Just a guess, big if true!

Prior to this buy $MSTR held 158,400 #bitcoin  and had 14,221,000 shares outstanding. Giving each share equivalent ownership of ~.01113 BTC. Now there are 15,410,588 shares outstanding with each having the equivalent ownership of ~.01132 BTC. This is a +1.7% increase in the bitcoin holdings per share. This is NOT dilution. Few understand!

To all my prepper inclined friends out there, get yourself a PCP (Pre Charged Pneumatic) air rifle. No KYC in most states - not considered firearms. Can buy suppressors for them too, which are not NFA regulated (labeled for airgun use only), can buy off the internet, ship to your house. I usually use Airguns of Arizona. .177 or .22 will handle anything up to a raccoon no problem, can get bigger calibers for bigger game. Dirt cheap to shoot, quiet as a mouse. Don’t get me wrong you need firearms too if they’re an option for you, but a PCP is such a wonderful tool. Favorites: Cheap option - Umarex Notos Expensive - BRK Ghost I like MTC Optics, made for airguns. Zero eye relief prism sight is my favorite but they’ve got traditional riflescopes too. Air source - can use a PCP compressor, hand pump, or scuba tank. I have a cheap compressor, but good to keep a hand pump available just in case. Scuba tank is easiest if you have a scuba shop near you. JSB Hades Pellets (or the FX branded version) image

Who would have thought that the next great bitcoin conflict post Blocksize Wars wouldn’t be covenants, ordinals, or drivechains, but the Israeli-Gaza conflict! Fix the money, fix the world, it’s the only way.

So all FPPS pools (most of them) got screwed and had to pay miners almost double in tx fees today because of the 20BTC fee someone paid. They won’t see any of that money but they have to pay out the rolling average fee for the whole network each day (past 144 blocks). Recent average has been ~30btc per day in fees, today it was 50. Interesting attack vector. A malicious non-FPPS pool could self mine their own transactions with very high fees and put all the FPPS pools out of business. They might have to start filtering out these outliers, or more likely switch to PPS+ which would lead to pool consolidation. PPS+ pools pay miners the average fees for the blocks they themselves mine. Safer for the pool, but most miners prefer FPPS because it eliminates more variance…unless the pool is big enough that their personal average is statistically equivalent to the FPPS average - hence the consolidation. PPLNS pools (basically just Braiins at this point) are unaffected. Although it would have been very interesting to see What would have happened if they would have won that 26 BTC block. Can’t imagine there would be any chance the sender would be able to recover funds whereas Chun from F2Pool has already unilaterally offered to return the funds (and is presumably eating the higher FPPS fees as well).

Out of the goodness of their hearts (AKA to boost demand) Tesla is letting people transfer FSD to a new vehicle for the first time ever, offer valid until the end of the quarter. So the option I bought for $3k in 2018 (that’s only been useful for the last 6 months) can be transferred to a new vehicle where it would normally cost $15k. So yeah, they got me. Bastards.
