Social media is a tool for communicating with other like minded individuals. Some people communicate all day, every day because engagement pays. Which is fine. But I want to communicate only when I need to. And go into the monk mode, reading and writing when I have little to communicate.

The problem with the current world is that repeatation is rewarded. 1. More podcasts sell more ads 2. More articles sell more subscriptions/ads 3. More notes get zapped more The more you repeat, the more you're rewarded. Because it's the attention economy. We have 1000s of Bitcoin vs Fiat podcasts. Why don't newcomers build on existing knowledge than create their own knowledge base? Because INCENTIVES. Who else wants to break this cycle?
