Armored Core when I was a lad

I doubt it'll happen but I'm hoping we get the AC series ported to PC or at least newer consoles someday, even if that's just the PS3 era of games. PSX and PS2 are easy enough to emulate but the PS3 games are rare and expensive.

Sprinted through Armored Core 1 with save states. Game is definitely a trial and error test in patience mostly because the weapons aren't balanced, it's pretty easy to run out of ammo, and you don't know what you're up against until you see it. It's an awesome game though. There are so many more in the series I want to try so I might drop it even though I haven't gone back to try out the other missions or most of the weapons. Maybe I'll look up some OP builds tomorrow and go try them out at least.

I'm amazed at how well Armored Core holds up today. The only issue is the controls and you can just remap on emulator. I moved around the aiming buttons so now it uses standard modern camera/movement controls. Definitely going to have to do the same with the PS2 games because they had the same bad control scheme.
