'Cow Up Tree' by John Kelly. Produced in 2000 and can be found in Docklands, Melbourne.
While seemingly whimsical, the artist was inspired by livestock that were swept away by flooding. When the water subsided, a carcass of one cow was found stranded high and dry in a tree.
Back to some architecture today, one of my favourite of the M Pavilion projects was in 2015 by Amanda Levete
You can now find this entry located in Docklands, Melbourne!

Let's change pace back to some landscape (or should I say lakescape)
One of my favourite places in the world - Lake Victoria, Kenya!

I mentioned the Bird's Nest stadium in my last post.
Here it is, the Beijing National Stadium, by Herzog & de Meuron.
Olympic Green is a great place for photography, aside from the people selling laser pointers that kept shining them in my eyes and at my camera!
I actually wish I had more time there to get a few different angles of the stadium.

It's not entirely architecture focused, but Melbourne has been getting a bad reputation lately. We need some positivity and a reminder that the region truly is beautiful!
Nothing like a still morning from the Geelong waterfront!
