Hate speech doesn't exist, people can be hateful with their speech absolutely, but that is still free speech. If you say "Oh I'm pro free speech but we gotta stop hate speech" you aren't pro free speech, you are pro limiting speech. People often say "that's a slippery slope" but they are wrong, it's not a slope at all, it's a drop off into free fall.
