Assuming Google goes through with their lockdown of android at that point I see no reason for a normal Android user to keep using Android. I even think Apple makes more sense at that point, not because it's more open but because of the better hardware, that way at very least you are getting better hardware. If your options are locked down crap android hardware or locked down good apple hardware then I think the choice seems pretty clear. Also yes I know GrapheneOS exists, I'm speaking of the choice between Google and Apple though.

Games suck, play old stuff or indie stuff or just accept that games are trash now and find something else to do. It's funny how the more money they get involved, the better the tech gets and the bigger the team gets the game gets worse. Meanwhile we have small teams of caring indie devs making some actually good games. Somehow 1980's games are higher quality than AAA 2026 games. Shows that just dumping money on everything doesn't fix it.

Do video games just suck now?

I say this every few months and that's because I hear non stop about how "Abraham Lincoln was one if the greatest US presidents" no, he was by far the worst. All he did was tell 1 half of the country to kill the other half then stripped state rights way back. He essentially used the citizens as meat shields to centralize more power in the federal government. Again, he was the worst president in US history. States used to be able to tell the federal government no and Abraham Lincoln didn't like that.
