They keep trying to say "oh but what about the children" to pass horrific laws. How about if you don't want your kids doing things online you use the parental controls that are already on 90% of devices at this point or maybe tell your kid if they do what you told them not to do you will beat them or something. It's not the governments job to restrict everything just because a few parents suck at being parents. There are like 1000 other ways to deal with child safety online without making everything have ID/Age verification.

I'm going to use only #ditto for 2 weeks, my only client just so that I will play with it enough to have a real feel for it. Dive into settings and such. I've been using it all day today, it's mostly good, a couple little annoyances so far with the biggest one being the dang scrollbar on mobile. Also haptics would be a nice addition I think when using the bottom navbar, just a little confirmation that I did in fact click a button in the navbar.
